As part of the ATL South Parking Deck – Phase 1 project, extensive underground utility upgrades were implemented to enhance infrastructure performance and capacity. The scope included the installation of multiple utility manhole configurations. Additional items included 14,444 LF of 6” PVC Conduits enclosed in concrete at a depth of 10’ – 24’.

33,200 linear feet of 4” PVC conduits were placed as part of the underground utility duct bank.Placement of 14 EA 10’x15’x14’ two-way precast utility manhole for 1000 mcm cable for Georgia Power duct bank. This work involved excavation, installation of electrical duct bank, placement of concrete duct bank easement, and backfilling of electrical duct bank and manholes.
